Signal Synchronized Transducer

Saves space while improving acoustic performance

Signal Synchronized Transducer
  • Allows for a more compact speaker enclosure without compromising performance
  • Allows a larger waveguide to fit inside the enclosure, giving you enhanced pattern control
  • Creates space for a port under the waveguide, resulting in deeper bass response
  • Minimizes distortion and standing waves inside the loudspeaker

The waveguide (or “horn”) is placed forward in the enclosure to help time-align the low- and high-frequency transducers (a.k.a. the woofer and tweeter). The additional benefits of this design are as follows: Allows for a more compact speaker enclosure without compromising performance Allows a larger waveguide to fit inside the enclosure, giving you enhanced pattern control Creates space for a port under the waveguide, resulting in deeper bass response Minimizes distortion and standing waves inside the loudspeaker
