Electro-Voice provides an enhanced audio experience at the General Statistics Office of Vietnam
The newly-erected General Statistics Office in Vietnam is equipped with Electro-Voice professional sound equipment, including an Expandable Vertical Array (EVA) line-array loudspeaker system in its 450-capacity main auditorium. Superior audio quality and architecture-friendly aesthetics were the customer’s top priorities for the project. AIC Trading., Jsc, a Bosch Building Technologies Certified Partner, proposed the EVA solution to meet these requirements.
The main auditorium has a two-floor design with a six-meter-high ceiling. Two arrays of five EVA-2082S modules -- each featuring two 8” LF and four 1.25” HF drivers – are flown at stage left and right, with each array including a combination of one EVA-2082S 906 (90°H x 6°V dispersion), three EVA-2082S 920 (90°H x 20°V) and one EVA-2082S 1220 (120°H x 20°V) to provide precise, even coverage with a high level of intelligibility throughout the elegant space – even to audience members at the rear of the room. Two EVA-2151D dual-15” subwoofers per side provide low-frequency support. The system is powered by four CP4000S amplifiers and processed with a Dx46 system controller, both from Electro-Voice. A pair of ETX-15P powered loudspeakers serve as stage monitors. Additional Electro-Voice equipment at the facility includes four PC Desktop-18 multi-pattern gooseneck microphones, and 10 EVID C4.2 ceiling speakers.
The new system gives the assurance of excellent audio quality for the wide range of functions hosted at the office and in the auditorium, including large-scale events for international delegates and national professionals working in the statistics field.
