Comprehensive Bosch, Dynacord & Electro‑Voice solution for Grenada House of Parliament
Streamline Systems Co. Ltd. recently designed and installed a comprehensive audio-video, CCTV, managed access control and IT system solution for the new Grenada House of Parliament building, located in the capital of St. George’s. This project was a particular honor for the Streamline team, as the company is partly Grenadian owned.
The audio equipment list includes Bosch DICENTIS conferencing, 10 Electro-Voice ZX1i-90T surface-mount loudspeakers, 12 Electro-Voice C4.2 ceiling mount speakers, and Dynacord C1300FDI amplifiers – the first installation of these new models in the region.
The entire system was tuned to perfection and needed no tweaking for the first sitting of Parliament … Members of the house who are familiar with audio systems have high praise for its performance.
"We selected Dynacord C1300FDI amplifiers to drive the Parliament's audio system primarily because of the flexibility they offer,” says Streamline director Clifford Beckles. “Their onboard DSP means no external processing is required – the parameters are entered directly. Euroblock connectors make the amps simple to terminate quickly and effectively – no need to solder XLR connectors. They also have built-in switchable 70V outputs. These new amps are very versatile and we will definitely use them again.”
“The entire system was tuned to perfection and needed no tweaking for the first sitting of Parliament,” adds Gayvon Mark, Technical Operator at the facility. “Members of the house who are familiar with audio systems have high praise for its performance. The Streamline team went above and beyond to deliver the installation in record time and their post-installation support has also been very satisfactory – I definitely recommend them.”
