Transforming sound in the name of science

Science Museum Oklahoma, one of the largest hands-on science museums in the USA, faced challenges with its aging auditorium, impacting attendance for their Science Live program. Cory’s Spaces, in collaboration with Oklahoma Gas & Electric, undertook the task of transforming the space into a modern, multifunctional venue.

A critical aspect of the renovation was the comprehensive sound system upgrade. This installation features Electro-Voice EVF and EVH loudspeakers powered by Dynacord C Series power amplifiers. The high-quality sound reproduction from the new system, along with streamlined visuals of the speaker arrays, significantly enhanced the auditorium's audio capabilities. With new sound, video, and lighting systems the production quality could be significantly improved, attracting larger audiences and enriching visitor experiences.
