Electro-Voice ZLX launch event in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Electro-Voice and partner Truong Thinh Audio Co., Ltd. recently hosted a launch event for the new ZLX powered and passive loudspeaker family on May 17 at the Nam Quang Club in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
The event attracted more than 60 participants, including bar owners, lighting and audio companies, pro-sound resellers, music composers and more. The event presented an opportunity for participants to have some hands-on time with this innovative new line from EV, which brings the brands renowned warm, intelligible sonic signature – and a unique new one-know DSP control on powered models – to an unprecedented price point.
The event started with opening speeches by Mr. Terence Ng, General Manager in Indochina of EV parent company Bosch Security Systems, and Mr. Wilfred Steeman, VP Bosch Security Systems in Asia Pacific.
Electro-Voice Product Manager Mr. Edward Chia then introduced the features of the ZLX family. A representative from the Royal Palace – one of the first customers using the ZLX speakers in Vietnam – was also at the event to share their positive experience and give end-user feedback on ZLX.
Live product demonstrations generated great interest, with ZLX being put through the paces with various live performances. On the powered models, features including application-specific presets for music playback, live sound, club sound, or speech bore out EV’s mission to design ZLX as a best-in-class solution across every detail, as did the power and clarity provided by its custom-designed 2-channel/biamped amplifier and EV-engineered drivers.
