Electro-Voice networked audio provides solution for London church
September 19, 2008
Digital control hardware was used throughout much of this installation to allow full control of each individual piece of equipment, not only to maximize sound and visual performance but also to make the system as user-friendly as possible. It presented the ideal scenario for a Church with a large team of operators, dynamic worship music, and a content-driven message for its congregation.
“The audio system comprises of ceiling-mounted Electro-Voice QRx speakers”
The audio system comprises of ceiling-mounted Electro-Voice QRx speakers, including the QRx212/75H which is designed for horizontal mounting with a rotatable-horn 3“ central compression driver. There are three rows of speakers, each individually tuned via the EV NetMax network controller, to ensure fully optimized sound from the front of the auditorium to the back. EV CP Contractor Series amplifiers deliver matched performance between speakers and amplification. Behind two of the front speakers, visual monitors were installed for the Pastor and music team to view individually-created messages, PowerPoint displays, and song lyrics during the service.
