New XLC DVX Line Arrays for Bethune Cookman College

September 13, 2007

The system features left and right flown arrays of six new DVX woofer-loaded XLC enclosures, each with low end reinforcement via three Xsubs, all powered by nine P3000RL remote control amplifiers. The performance of every component in the system is controlled and monitored via IRIS-Net software.
“the XLC is a beefier-sounding box with the new DVX 12 driver, with even more punch in the mids-great for vocals.”
“We’re primarily a live concert production company,“ says Ken Kleinecke of Production Service Group, “-recent shows with our XLC rig include Gretchen Wilson, Clint Black, The Doobie Brothers and Shirley Caesar-and, after we did a show at the school, they approached us about a permanent, concert quality system to replace an LCR system used for spoken word, lectures, etc. I demoed my XLC rig to them and they loved it. This is a large room with around 4000-seats, and now they have a PA with the range and headroom to accommodate all their production needs, and the relatively compact size allows plenty of space for sightlines and video screens. Plus the XLC is a beefier-sounding box with the new DVX 12“ driver, with even more punch in the mids-great for vocals. The first show with the new rig was with Yolanda Adams, and it sounded fantastic.“http://productionservicegroup.com IRIS-Net###
