EV Hosts Netmax / Iris-Net Certification Training Session
May 4, 2006
Each student was given a complete system for hands-on exercises and demonstrations.
The focus of the training was not only on EV products and systems, but also on core technology principals, terminology and techniques, including a session on general audio networking practices, protocols and applications. These included CAN bus, TCP/IP, Ethernet and Cobranet technologies and implementation. Upon completion of the training, all attendees were given a rigorous written test, a hardware test and were assigned a design concept to be submitted for completion of the certification program. Ethan Wetzell, NetMax/IRIS-Net Product Specialist, Telex Pro Audio Group, offered some thoughts about the session:
“I am thrilled about the results of our latest IRIS-Net/NetMax certification session. Our students are among the best and brightest talent working in the industry today”
“I am thrilled about the results of our latest IRIS-Net/NetMax certification session. Our students are among the best and brightest talent working in the industry today, and it was a great privilege to teach them about our product and the unique features and benefits it brings to the table. We had attendees from all over the globe, including the US, Canada and China, and I was very impressed by the high level of enthusiasm and energy that they brought to the class. Let’s face it, talking about electrons and IP addresses in such detail is usually only exciting to a geek like me, but the product and the training was very well received and it was a pleasure to spend time with such a robust group of attendees.
“EV is committed to providing its dealers with the most comprehensive and beneficial training possible,“ Wetzell added. “We keep our certification standards very high to ensure end users of our product receive only the highest level of service, ability and knowledge. I’m very pleased to say that all of our attendees will be able to offer these qualities to our customers - I extend my sincere thanks to all who attended this session and look forward to the next one!“
